June Bluegills
I got out yesterday morning with a buddy and his girlfriend on Wind Lake in search of some bluegills for a fish fry. The morning started off a little slow but it didn't take long to get dialed in. There were many triples and doubles throughout the day. We did some very selective harvesting and ended up with 20 bluegills between 7 and 8.5''. Joe and Taylor had a blast fighting these big bull gills on my 13 Fishing Ambition rods. With the water temp at 71 i figured the bluegills had moved off their beds but they weren't to far off. Best water was 4-8fow. I still have a few open days month but with my salmon tournament season starting to heat up, days are filling up fast!
