Lake Michigan still producing
It's been a little while since my last post but there's a reason for it, fishing has been to go to take time off, also I have been running quite a few charters. But here it goes, best depth has been in the 40-60fow, dipsy divers with brads cut plugs filled with tuna has been by far the most effective for cohos. Moonshine Mag Bloody Nose has been the best producer for kings on my Big Jon down rigger. Unfortunately as of two days ago my shallow water bite dried up with water temps getting way to warm. The rest of this week it looks like I'll be running to a little deeper water. But depending on who you talk to, some charters are on fish and some charters are struggling. The top fish were a 18lb laker, 16.8lb chinook, 15lb chinook, 14lb chinook and 14lb laker, not to mention a 13.75'' perch from the opening day of perch season that my buddy stuck using my 13 Fishing Omen Black.
